Description: A spreading shrub with slender, crooked branches. The leaves are aromatic when crushed, hence the latin name aromatica. The fruit matures in late summer and is red with short hairs. Fruit is eaten by many species of birds, especially quail and turkey. A fair browse for deer and some livestock.
